Clementine Ganley

I am a senior B.F.A Industrial Design student studying at the University of Notre Dame. I am originally from a small town in Galway, Ireland.
In all of my work I am interested in simplicity and nature. As a maker, I find it important to take inspiration from the natural elements around us and use these to create.
I find this concentration on nature extremely important in my industrial design work. As a producer of goods, I like to create multifunctional products which are made out of renewable materials. I am interested in various areas of Industrial Design, such as children's products, medical devices, and home decor.
This focus on nature continues in my photography. I am fascinated by how manmade objects interact with nature. This fascination can be seen mostly through my photographs which include the contrasting of architecture and nature.
While nature is plays a very significant role in my paintings, I am also interested in tying various ideas into my work.
